Network Design & Optimization

We designed and repaired high-throughput networks for SMB offices, warehouses, and multi-site deployments:

• Wi-Fi 6/6E Access Points: Deploying enterprise-grade wireless networks with Wi-Fi 6 and 6E for high-density environments, including site surveys, channel planning, and roaming optimization
• Multi-Gigabit Switching: Designing and configuring multi-gigabit switch fabrics with proper VLAN segmentation, QoS policies, and link aggregation
• Network Troubleshooting: Diagnosing throughput bottlenecks, broadcast storms, spanning tree loops, and asymmetric routing issues

Edge Security

We secured the local perimeter with modern firewall and threat prevention technology:

• Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW): Implementing NGFWs with deep packet inspection, application-aware filtering, and automated threat response to detect and block advanced threats at the network edge
• Intrusion Prevention: Configuring IPS/IDS systems with custom rule sets tuned to each client's traffic patterns and threat landscape
• Network Segmentation: Isolating critical systems, IoT devices, and guest networks through micro-segmentation to limit blast radius of any breach

Modern Remote Access

We transitioned clients away from vulnerable legacy VPNs toward modern, identity-aware access models:

• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): Implementing ZTNA solutions that grant least-privilege access to specific applications based on user identity, device posture, and context rather than broad network access
• SASE (Secure Access Service Edge): Deploying SASE architectures that converge networking and security into a cloud-delivered service, ensuring secure access for remote St. Louis workers regardless of location
